God sent Jesus to earth for a purpose. He gave Him a responsibility and the authority to fulfill that responsibility. Not only did Jesus come to die on the cross for the sin of all mankind, He also came to destroy the works of Satan: "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
Jesus came as the representative of the Father with God’s authority. He spoke the Word. He worked the works of God. After His death and resurrection, Jesus took the authority vested in Him by God Almighty and delegated it to His followers. He did not take that authority back to heaven and leave us here to accomplish the tremendous task of reaching the world without the manifested power of God.
Jesus passed that authority on to us as co-workers of God. He gave His authority to the disciples who followed Him while He was here on earth, and He gives that same power and authority to us. He said:
-All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). -As my Father has sent me, even so send I you (John 20:21). -Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy: And nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
The disciples followed the example of Jesus and used the authority He delegated to them as they went out to reach the nations. They literally turned the world upside down for God: "...These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also" (Acts 17:6). These are the same men who once denied Him, fled in His time of trouble, and doubted His resurrection. But now...
...they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (Mark 16:20)
When you become a person of authority, you have the spiritual credentials for doing the works of God.
How do you become a person of authority? By whose authority do you do the works of God? Not by education or ordination. The authority you need begins and ends in Jehovah God!
You have the same authority operating in you that commanded Joshua to, "Cross that river and surround that city." Your authority is from God. You have the spiritual credentials for doing the proof-producing works of God.

My FATHER, My God, this year let my life reflect the blessing of the Lord, I shall not be static, I decree PROGRESS, FAVOR, HONOR, AND INFLUENCE are my portion. My life is SALTED, My speech is SALTED, My Home and Business are SALTED in the name of Jesus.
