BELIEVING FOR A MIRACLE?

Faith is not a feeling, it is tenacity – It is being able to have a firm grip on something.
When we operate from a place of how we feel instead of trusting, we can’t receive anything from God.
Feelings are unreliable but faith is constant. We read from Mark 5:35-36 that when news came from Jairus’s home that his daughter had died, what did Jesus say to him? “Be not afraid, only believe.”
In other words, maintain the same Faith or Belief in Me you had when you first came to Me to raise your daughter back to life. (Read Mark 5:36)
In other words, don’t change your position, your belief in Me. Jesus overheard what they were talking about and said to the leader, “Don’t listen to them; just trust me.” (Read V.36 MSG)
Feelings will Sink you but Faith Receives
Your feelings will sink you, but your faith will receive the miracle for you - The moment you switch from believing to your feelings, or to reasoning you start sinking. Read Matthew 14:22-31
Believing is Confidence – Read Hebrews 10:35-39
Believing guarantees stability – Christians should be the most stable people on earth because our confidence is not in ourselves or in the flesh but in God. Read Philippians 3:3
We fail because we keep shifting positions from believing to our feelings.
See how powerful your believing is and what it can do for you.
Read and meditate on these verses from Hebrews 11:23-38
