If you are to be a proof-producer, you must learn to act upon the Word of the Lord. Obeying God's commands are not only important to victorious Christian living, they are vital to becoming a proof-producing believer.
The people responded positively to Joshua's directives from the Lord, declaring: "All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go" (Joshua 1:16).
This was quite a different response from that of the previous generations of Israelites who arrived at the border of their promised land forty years previously. This is a new generation. This is a group of people who are not going to be defeated by their own words. They know how to deal with the battles of the tongue, the mind, the heart, the world, the flesh, and the devil. They will not be defeated by the enemy. They will not walk in disobedience. They will not be denied. They will reach their destiny!
