God’s special grace is upon us all to effectively execute His assignments concerning our lives. Apostle Paul was such a person who was chosen by God to bear His name before kings, gentiles and the children of Israel.
As believers in Christ, because God has chosen us according to His purpose, He “causes everything to work together for _our_ good”. Do not fall out of His divine purpose because in due time, the Holy Spirit will perform that which concerns your life to the praise and glory of God our Father.
Despite all that He went through from birth to the cross, Jesus never felt sorry for Himself or throw a pity party because He knew the Father was with Him. “I am not alone, because the Father is with me.” John 16:32
Here are four things about God choosing you:
God chose you through the gospel.
“But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth” – 2 Thessalonians 2:13
Through the grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ, God chose you and sanctified you by his Spirit. He has a predetermined plan for you to walk with Him and belong to His glorious family.
2. God chose you to be a special treasure to Him.
“For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.” – Deuteronomy 14:2 (NKJV)
You belong to a family of God’s special and extraordinary creation—a special treasure above all the people on the surface of the earth, and bestowing upon us special gifts, grace and abilities to minister in His house. Don’t allow anyone’s opinion devalue you because God cherishes you as top class of all His creations.
3. You belong to a class of the few.
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” – Matthew 22:14 (NKJV)
Many are called through the invitation of the gospel but only the few who respond are chosen. God has chosen you because you honoured His call. And for those who respond, they will show forth His praises in His marvellous light.
Precious one, God has chosen you through the gospel, and you are part of the chosen few who have responded to become a special treasure above all the people of the earth. Therefore, give God all praise and glory. And finally,
4. You are called and chosen to save the lost
When Jesus sent out His disciples to win souls and bring in the harvest, He sent them with a promise, “ Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.“ John 15:16
Remember this, you are called and you are chosen. But here is where it even gets better, if you start winning souls for Christ, your prayers will never go unanswered.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the blessedness of Your calling. Thank you for choosing me and bringing me into Your glory and making me a soul winner for your kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus.
