I CHOOSE TO GIVE THANKS

Read John 11:34-46

In Verse 38 The Bible says that Jesus groaning in himself cometh to the grave. The word groan in the Greek - means to snot as a horse does from fear or anger. Jesus was not angry because the situation was hopeless. He was angry because He knew who was behind the problem. The illness and death of Lazarus was the work of the devil.

From scripture, we understand that thanksgiving is an attitude of appreciation and gratitude to God for something we received from Him or for what He has done. Thanksgiving is one of the major secrets of life. It releases miracles and fulfilment of prophesies.

As it is written: "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High" (Psalm 92:1)

By heaven’s protocol, thanksgiving precedes praise. Only a thankful heart can be praiseful. Jesus understood the mystery of thanksgiving He used it to do exploits on earth.

In John 6 Jesus fed 5000 people after He gave thanks the bread and fish multiplied (Read John 6:11-14)

Decide today and start declaring:

I choose to give thanks...
