I will Bless Those Who Bless You

When you bless a man God has blessed, you will be blessed. But be careful not to curse or raise a finger at someone God has blessed because God will fight you on their behalf. Lot was not called to go alongside Abram, but because he was submitting to a man God had blessed, the effect of the blessing turned the land where both Abraham and Lot lived into the Garden of the Lord. When Abram said to him, “Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.” Genesis 13:8-11)
If Lot had known it, he would have given Abraham that well-watered spot and taken the less fruitful land for himself.
He should have figured out that by blessing Abraham, he would be blessed. After all, it was the Blessing on his uncle that had made them all rich. But when Lot moved from Abraham to go to Sodom, things didn’t go well for him. The next thing the Bible tells us about Lot is that he and his household were in very big trouble.
PRAYER: Father in heaven, today I receive Your wisdom to be a blessing. I bless everything and everyone You have blessed around me in the name of Jesus.
I decree and declare that the blessing of the Lord, will get me out of trouble today in Jesus name.
I confess, that God has blessed me to be a blessing, in Jesus name.
Amen
