God sent Jesus into the world for a divine purpose: To destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). What would you think of a God who knew the strength of the enemy and did not give His Son the necessary weapons to defeat the enemy’s power?
Jesus said: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18). He recognized that the Father had given Him the necessary authority to fulfill His destiny. Jesus gave testimony to this in the synagogue when He opened the Book of the prophet Isaiah and read:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. (Luke 4:18)
Do you think that Jesus would send you to face spiritual enemies without the same power and authority? No--He would not!
When Jesus sent out His disciples, He told them that as His Father had sent Him--with all authority--in like manner He was sending them:
And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.(Matthew 10:1)
Jesus not only commissioned the disciples to preach that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand, but also to "...Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8). Jesus placed powerful weapons into the hands of believers with these words:
...Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:18-19)
You have supernatural spiritual weapons in your hands that will empower you to fulfill your destiny. All you must do is begin to use them.

My FATHER, My God, this year let my life reflect the blessing of the Lord, I shall not be static, I decree PROGRESS, FAVOR, HONOR, AND INFLUENCE are my portion. My life is SALTED, My speech is SALTED, My Home and Business are SALTED in the name of Jesus.
