MERCY FORGOES THE RIGHT TO ACCUSE AND CONDEMN Pt.1

“He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.” Psalm 103:9. Let us examine other translations of the same verse. Psalm 103:9, NIV: "He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;" Psalm 103:9, NASB: "He will not always contend with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever."

Imagine getting very angry and 3 minutes later there is such a compassion rising from within you. This is what God does for us.

We humans need this type of compassion. God gets angry when we sin against Him, but the moment we ask for forgiveness He is willing to subdue all our iniquities and cast them into the depths of the sea. We all need this heart of God, a heart that shows compassion. A heart that forgives and forgets the moment someone says to me, “I’m sorry.”

Psalm 103:9 from the New Living Translation says: "He (God) will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever."
