God’s word is designed to challenge us, build us up into what He has destined us so that we can receive His full measure of blessings. And God also wants to use you in the Ox ministry (Evangelistic Ministry) to deliver the Word of His grace so others would receive salvation.

There are multitudes around you who need to hear God’s word from you because God has sent you as an Evangelist to them. If you become aware of this and avail yourself to be used of God, He will give you a word in season that will bless somebody at your workplace, the grocery store, your business or neighborhood.

Here are three reasons why God wants to preach His Word through you:

  1. There is much evil in the earth.

“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.”

– Jonah 1:2

There is so much evil and wickedness in the earth because the hearts of men are desperately wicked to commit evil. The Word of God, however, has power to transform the vilest of men and to bring them to repentance as we preach it. Correct human laws can only prevent the legalization of sin but only the gospel has power to save a soul from sin.

2. Faith is built as we preach.

“Now let me remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before…for your faith is built on this wonderful message.” – 1 Corinthians 15:1 (NLT)

Faith in God is pivotal to our walk with Him and to us receiving from Him. However, faith in God is only produced by true knowledge of God’s word. We help people’s faith grow when we share God’s word with them. Faith is a gift you can give to someone through preaching the Word.

3. It is an assignment to be fulfilled.

“But he replied, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other places, too, because that is why I was sent” – Luke 4:43 (NLT)

We are representatives of Christ and of His words. It is a calling and an assignment to be lived. Let us represent our Lord and His message of good news that strengthens the hopeless and heals the broken-hearted.

Sons of God, we must sow and scatter the seed of God’s word every where we are so that any heart of good soil that receives it will bring forth much fruit and be blessed.

Heavenly Father, stir up Your Word in me and give me the tongue of the learned to speak a word in season to anyone who needs it around me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
