THE BLESSED ONE AND THE BLESSING

Genesis 1:1 from one interesting Translation I read says: “In the beginning the blessed One created the heavens and the earth.”
God is the blessed One and after He created man, He blessed man. Read
Genesis 1:26
V.26-27 Image in the Hebrew is the word – Tselem – meaning “Exact Representation of us, or “an exact Duplicate of God.”
The word “likeness” means resemblance in shape and in nature.
Declare this over your life, “I’m blessed just like my Father in heaven.”
This is why fathers have been empowered to bless their children. But remember your father has to be blessed to bless you.
God can bless you because He is the blessed One. God’s blessing is His divine power given to men to go forward, advance and make progress in life regardless of their current situation.
That is why every time God blesses a man, the words are the same familiar words we heard in Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
See also Genesis 9, after Noah came out of the flood and the tide of wickedness that caused God to destroy the earth, Noah needed a fresh start.
His family stepped out of the Ark onto an earth that had been given acquittal from the works of the devil. Noah built an altar to the Lord and brought of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl and offered burnt offerings.
And Genesis 9:1-2 says: “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.”
God met Jacob in Genesis 35 after a number of experiences, he had been through in life and God said Genesis 35: 9-11
Verse 11 from NLT says, “Then God said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Be fruitful and multiply. You will become a great nation, even many nations. Kings will be among your descendants!”
You don’t need a different blessing. If the blessing sounds familiar it’s because God says the same thing every time. He said it to Adam, He said it to Abraham, He said to Isaac, to Jacob and to Noah.
Noah needed a blessing because everything on earth had been wiped out except his family and one boatload of animals.
When he stepped out of the Ark, there wasn’t one trace of civilization left anywhere. He must have looked around and thought, How are we ever going to get this place restored? How are we going to make it habitable again?
God’s answer to the question was “THE BLESSING.”
Declare to yourself right now, “the blessing will fix it for me.”
With that BLESSING, God equipped this one little family to turn the whole planet into the Garden of Eden.
Before the blessing it looked like Noah and his family were going to go under with no hope for the future but after the blessing their story changed.
I prophesy today that your story is changing in the name of Jesus!
I am a son of God, I am blessed forever in the name of Jesus
I prophesy to myself that every curse, every system working against me, The blessing of God will fix it today in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen.
