TIME AND CHANCE IS GIVEN TO ALL

Life is a series of victories and adversities. The things we go through in life will either add to our experiences, challenges us, set us back or help us advance. And regarding this life, the opening scripture tells us that things do not always turn out as expected for those who are naturally advantaged in life but there are other forces of life that can turn the tables around in any direction.

Whether we feel advantaged or not, we must be prepared to act and take chances in life. When we are not prepared to take chances in life, we will not be able to maximise certain opportunities life presents us and consequently, our true potentials will remain undiscovered.

Here are three things to consider when taking chances in life:

  1. Do not operate in fear.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Life may be full of uncertainties; nonetheless, give no place to fear because God has not given us the spirit of fear, but put your confidence in God to see you through every step of the way towards your dreams and aspirations. Fear will hinder and paralyse your progress. And Satan takes advantage of your fears to dictate how far you can go in life.

2. Mistakes are bound to happen but don’t give up.

“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” – Ecclesiastes 10:8

Mistakes are bound to happen when taking chances in life but don’t give up because God will make all things work together for your good. You may fail many times in life does not mean you have been disqualified or that it’s not the will of God for you to succeed. Never quit, as long as you are under the right spiritual covering and in the right location, the Bible says: “Time and chance happeneth to all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

3. God can do anything for you.

Job 42:2 (NLT) says, “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you.”

There is nothing that is impossible for God to do in order to accomplish His purpose or assignment for your life. Sometimes it is our attitude that hinders His purpose; but He doesn’t give up on us. You need to yield fully to God knowing that He is ready to move mountains for you anytime if you have faith.

Son of God, be bold and step out in your faith to accomplish whatever God has put on your heart knowing that He will cover up for your errors and turn all impossibilities to possibilities for your success.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I believe it’s my time, it’s my season. I lean not on my own understanding but I trust in You completely as I step out boldly in life, in the name of Jesus.

Amen!
