USE YOUR MOUTH TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE Pt. 5

“I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God’s Decree.“For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them." Isaiah 55:8-11 (MSG)

So, with God, it’s the word that does the word. That is why every time God said, apart from the phrase, “and it was so,” you will also find this, “And God saw that it was good.”

Good is God’s nature. Jesus said in Matthew 19:17, “…There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”

The latin word there is, ‘Summum bonum’ meaning the highest or ultimate good. God is the source of all goodness. Everything He says and does is always good. He is the source of all goodness. God’s word makes all things good because He is good.

Read Luke 6:45 - "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."

So, going forward, our outcome in life weather good or bad, will depend largely on the words we are going to speak about ourselves and our situation.

If you say, “I’m finished,’ there will be nothing left of you.

If you say, I’m struggling financially, or I’m broke that’s what you will get.

And because you don’t want to end up at the mental hospital, you are not going to say, “everything is crazy.” Because Jesus said, “You shall have what you say.” Mark 11:23
