USE YOUR MOUTH TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE - Pt. 4

The key to creation and all creativity is the word of God.
Here we see that the spoken word created not one world but worlds. In the New Testament two Greek words are used. Cosmos and Aion. Referring to the Universe (Cosmos) and the course of human history (Aion).
Both were framed by the word of God. And so, God designed this whole universe to be a word planet. That means everything we see was created and is governed by words. The detailed account of God doing all this creative work is found in Genesis chapter 1.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (V.1)
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. (V.6)
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (V.9)
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. (V.11)
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. (V.14-15)
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. (V.20)
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. (V.24)
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (V.26)
If you take some time and read the whole chapter, you will find that each time after God said, you will read, “and it was so.”
In other words, what God says happens because words have spiritual and creative power. If words can create and restore an entire universe imagine what God’s words in our mouths can do for you, a little person. Listen to what God says about His word.
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11) KJV
Reading from the AMPC it says: "So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
God does everything using words. He doesn’t exert in doing physical labor He uses words to get whatever He wants, and it gets done. It is interesting if you read Isaiah 55 from the Message Bible. It reads:
“I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God’s Decree.“For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them." Isaiah 55:8-11 (MSG)
